Tal Chappar Sanctuary
Tal Chappar Sanctuary is located in the Churu District, of the Indian State of Rajasthan. It is known for blackbucks and also home to a variety of birds. The sanctuary is a refuge for the black bucks.
The region is characterized by distinct winter, summer and monsoon. The summers are extremely hot with maximum temperatures reaching up to 48 C/118 F and the minimum temperature in winter falls down to 10 C/50 F. The region is part of the arid zone and rainfall is highly erratic.
